Bloodwood Stave Snare Drum

$1,295.00

Bloodwood is a very dense hardwood found in Central and South America, named for its deep crimson color. It is described as “chatoyant” because of its luster and iridescent qualities in light. It’s a gorgeous wood and a personal favorite of mine.

This 6.5 x 14” solid wood stave snare features an ebony and holly inlay. All hardware is black nickel, including the DW Mag throw off/5 position butt plate and 3 mm triple flanged hoops. Bearing edges are 45 degrees with an 1/8” roundover and wide, shallow snare beds. It comes equipped with Evans heads and PureSound 30 strand snares.
